We are looking for a driven, creative leader with the ability to teach and inspire others. At least 2 years experience as FOH Restaurant Manager.

F/T Front of House Management – General Manager/ Assistant Manager:

  • 3+ years FOH restaurant management
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule – Evening and weekend availability a must
  • Great stress management
  • Great organizational skills
  • Familiarity of PC/Mac systems including Microsoft Word & Excel
  • Great communication skills along with strong interpersonal & conflict resolution skills
  • Knowledge of FOH operations – food, beverage, inventory, ordering, scheduling, supervision, etc.
  • Ability to support FOH & BOH staff, coordinate daily restaurant operations
  • WSET Level 1 & 2 would be preferred

In all we do we respect tradition as a starting point, but we never rely on tradition alone. We always seek our own way – the way we would have done it if we’d invented it. Joe Pizza is no different. This is Roman style pizza through our eyes. We are not trying to reinvent or complicate pizza – think of it as a love letter to the originators of traditional Roman pie with a little sprinkle of North American pizza nostalgia. We are looking for a F/T Line Baker/Line Prep

  • Responsible for garnishing, seasoning, and baking off all pizzas.
  • Responsible for maintaining the Garde Manger station including the preparation of salads and appetizers.
  • Responsible for completing prep and closing duties.

To be considered for this position, you must:

  • Have a minimum of 1 year professional cooking experience or equivalent.
  • Be passionate about bread, pizza, and fermentation. We value individuals who possess a strong willingness to learn and improve.
  • Have a positive attitude and team player mentality.
  • Be reliable, organized, and efficient.

  • Offering exceptional customer service, must have strong communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
  • Will be handling customer orders, using a POS system, handling cash, handling and packaging food/product, and must help maintain general upkeep of the store
  • SIR certification (Required), Food Safe 1 (asset)
