Summer Like An Italian

Returning for its third year, we’re giving you the chance to experience la dolce vita in your backyard with Summer Like An Italian.

Running from July 23rd to September 21st, Summer Like An Italian spotlights 12 of our restaurants and caffès: This year’s participating restaurants include Ask for Luigi, Bacaro, Carlino, Di Beppe, Farina a Legna, Giovane Caffè (West Cordova and West Georgia Street locations), Mercato di Luigi – (East 12th Avenue and East Georgia Street (coming soon) locations), MONZO, Motoretta, Pizzeria Farina, Pourhouse and Caffè Super Veloce.

Whether your dream Italian summer involves savouring a North-Eastern-style pizza made with the freshest seasonal ingredients, gathering with friends around a table brimming with bowls of handcrafted pasta inspired by the Friuli region, or sampling Venetian-inspired cicchetti near the water’s edge, you will find plenty of memorable moments across the Lower Mainland. Add in al fresco dining, a refreshing aperitivo, fine wines and warm hospitality, and you’ll feel as if you’ve landed right in one of Italy’s charming regions (minus the jet lag).

Good food and drink aren’t the only reward! When you dine at any of the ten participating restaurants, you can obtain a Summer Like An Italian passport and earn a stamp for every visit. Each stamp equals an entry for a chance to win one of three grand prizes:

  • Trip for two to Milan, Italy in partnership with Campari (12 stamps required)

  • Overnight stay for two at Shangri-La Vancouver with $250 gift card to Carlino (10 stamps

    required)

  • $500 gift card to Kitchen Table Restaurants (8 stamps required)

To enter the giveaways, simply follow your passport and visit participating restaurants and receive a stamp on any order (no minimum required). For each stamp you earn, enter to win one of the many prizes by submitting your email at the participating location you are visiting when you receive a stamp (ask your server). When you earn stamps from at least eight restaurants, you will be entered to win a big-ticket prize, including a trip to Italy if you earn all twelve stamps!

In addition, share your experiences on social media and have the chance to win weekly prizes; simply tag the visiting restaurant and @kitchentablerestaurants with the hashtag #SummerLikeAnItalian. You must be following both Instagram accounts to be eligible.

Once you’ve collected your the stamps, submit your passport from September 21 to September 30th 2024 at any participating restaurant.
